Job Summary

CrossMed is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Transport patients as needed, and assist with procedures and equipment operation.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with physicians and other healthcare team members.
