LNO, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to support the WarFighter Readiness Program. This role involves providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in the creation, implementation, and upkeep of training programs. The courses aim to educate personnel on electrical safety protocols, relay and contactor operations, multimeter usage, AC/DC voltage assessments, schematic interpretation, and troubleshooting of generators ranging from 2KW to 200KW, including their accessories. Participants will engage in both theoretical and practical assessments throughout the training.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, execution, and maintenance of training programs. They will conduct two-week sessions on electrical power systems at various locations. Collaboration with Program and Government Points of Contact (POCs) on training needs is essential. The position may involve significant travel.

New Equipment and Field Operations Support:
  • Assist in meeting Warfighter Readiness objectives at unit home stations and during field operations.
  • Evaluate unit equipment needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure operational readiness.
  • Establish baseline applications for new equipment prior to deployment.
  • Oversee system performance and reliability.
  • Monitor resource utilization and plan for capacity.
  • Provide advanced support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
  • Adhere to configuration and change management policies to ensure successful implementation of network changes.
  • Develop instructional materials and conduct on-site training for operational personnel on new systems.
Curriculum Development:
  • Work with Government clients to prepare and update training plans for current and future systems.
  • Design customized training strategies based on existing systems and mission-specific requirements.
Training Services:
  • Deliver instruction through both field and classroom environments.
  • Be prepared to conduct training during non-standard hours and in adverse weather conditions.
  • Set up classrooms to facilitate effective learning experiences.
  • Provide training on the operation and maintenance of both standard and specialized systems.
  • Act as a primary instructor, assistant instructor, or demonstrator as needed.
Cross Training:
  • Engage in formal and self-directed training on complementary systems to enhance overall competency.
Continuing Education:
  • Pursue ongoing education to maintain instructor certification status.
  • Participate in specialized training programs conducted at various locations.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Certification in instruction from an accredited institution or military training program.
  • Extensive experience as a mobile training instructor.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles, AC/DC fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and gather data for courseware development, including practical exercises.
  • Must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in various power generation equipment.
