Job Summary

Davis Cartage Company is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of Dry Van Trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose problems with trailer systems
  • Perform major and minor repairs and maintenance on trailers
  • Meet Department of Transportation standards
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and structural trailer systems

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to enter, exit, and operate tractor cab
  • Ability to lift, position, and remove items up to 80 pounds
