Fabrication Floater Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fabrication Floater to join our team in Kenosha, WI. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist fabrication personnel in obtaining necessary materials and tools to perform their operations without interruption.
  • Maintain the shipping dock, load and unload raw materials, and stage parts for operators.
  • Notify lead/supervisor when raw material is not stocked appropriately or unsafely.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds (assisted infrequently).
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending required.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
  • Ability to read blueprints and job requirements.
  • Ability to operate fabrication equipment, including laser, saw, press brake, ring roller, lift trucks, and power hoists (all training and licensing will be provided).
  • Experience in manufacturing or related fields preferred.
