Dermatology of Coastal Sarasota Seeking Skilled Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our esteemed dermatology team at Palm Harbor Dermatology PA (Ross). As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our board-certified dermatologists to provide comprehensive skin care services to our diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for dermatology. You will play a crucial role in enhancing patient access to quality dermatologic care and contributing to our practice's growth and success.

About the Role:

  • Diagnose and treat various skin conditions, diseases, and disorders.
  • Conduct thorough patient consultations and examinations.
  • Provide patient education on skincare and disease prevention.
  • Perform skin biopsies and other minor dermatological procedures.
  • Ensure high patient satisfaction through attentive education, follow-ups, and post-treatment care.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with our skincare professionals to deliver comprehensive skincare solutions.
  • Uphold safety protocols to maintain a sterile environment for clients and staff.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that highlights dermatological services and medical advancements.

Requirements:

  • Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a current, unrestricted Florida license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in dermatology specialty; proven experience in diagnosis and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and composure.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus. ModMed's EMA is preferred.

  • An estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 based on experience.
