Staffworks CNY is seeking a skilled Plastic Molder to join their team. As a Plastic Molder, you will be responsible for operating plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts.

• Operate plastic injection molding machines to produce parts to customer specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to remove flash and gates or conduct changeovers.
• Assist with mold changes, including clamping process as necessary.
• Coordinate first piece approval with quality inspection and make periodic visual checks to ensure quality and adjust equipment as necessary.
• Confere with engineering to document methods for all new jobs and recommend changes to existing ones.
• Complete required reports and records, including production output.
• Meet quality and quantity standards for the position.
• Support the ISO process approach to quality management and the Syteline MIS system.

• High School diploma equivalent.
• 6 months or more of plastic injection molding machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read job traveler, prints, diagram, and use basic measuring tools as needed. Strong attention to detail.
• Conceptual Skills, Process Improvement, Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Coordination, Attention to Detail, Judgment.
• Ability to walk, remain on feet for extended time periods, reach, stoop. Kneel and lift up to and including 35 pounds as needed. Ability to grip hand tools and depress controls.
