Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Room. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications within 60 days of hire.
- TNCC certification within 1 year of hire.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Two years of experience in acute care.
- ENPC certification.
