Job Title: Shift Manager

At Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of our warehouse shift, ensuring the efficient and safe loading of delivery trucks and performing assigned warehouse tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the warehouse shift, providing clear direction and guidance to team members.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient loading of delivery trucks, adhering to company standards and protocols.
  • Supervise and train load crew members, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of stock levels and movements.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identifying and addressing potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions:

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with regular exposure to moving equipment, loud noises, and varying temperatures. The role requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with frequent walking and standing.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen, and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times.
