Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Extruder Assistant to join our team at Amcor plc. As an Extruder Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our extrusion equipment, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the set-up and operation of extruder machines, ensuring proper functioning and quality control.
  • Perform quality checks and follow procedures to minimize waste and optimize production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to AIB, Safety, and Company policies.
  • Collaborate with operators, helpers, and crew leaders to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in on-site employee meetings and adhere to regular attendance and overtime requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, understand, and stay current with department work instructions and procedures.
