We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Vestmark. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high performance and reliability of our services, working closely with the lead System Engineers to enhance server monitoring and resolve SaaS issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement next-generation systems that meet the needs of our customers
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing and experience with AWS services such as IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, ECS/EKS, Migration Services, and Beanstalk. The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of work experience in a production data center setting, with expertise in server virtualization using VMware and server monitoring tools and scripting experience (Powershell, Perl, etc.).

A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Experience with MS SQL Server, SQL Performance Analysis, MS Windows Performance Monitoring and Analysis, High Performance Storage Subsystems (e.g. 3PAR, Netapp, etc.), and network technologies including VLAN, HTTP(S), SSL/TLS, SFTP, Load-balancers is also a plus.
