In this essential position, you will manage a varied portfolio of international suppliers, employing your negotiation and communication skills to ensure excellence throughout our supply chain.

Your key responsibilities will encompass initiating requests for quotes, overseeing purchase orders, and guaranteeing accurate account reconciliation and payment.


As a pivotal figure in supplier relationship management, you will adeptly handle schedules and lead corrective measures to ensure superior delivery performance.

This role requires a proactive communicator, capable of engaging with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership, with a strong focus on results.


Expect to provide strategic oversight, managing supplier accounts by developing and tracking key performance indicators to enhance performance metrics.

Whether working autonomously or in collaboration with a team, your contributions will be vital in driving organizational success and achieving critical objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely product delivery that meets quality standards and cost efficiency through effective negotiations.
  • Compile pricing proposals, financial reports, and relevant industry data to inform reasonable pricing strategies.
  • Execute procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RMAs, RTV, and MRB issues.
  • Collect data for reports to support both short-term and long-term procurement decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with various internal departments, such as quality and engineering, to resolve production and quality challenges.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and internal stakeholders.
  • Address client inquiries regarding order status, modifications, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Manage all schedules and purchase orders for the designated client account or product family.
  • Engage with multiple organizations, including Supply Chain Leads, Supplier Quality, and Engineering.
  • Participate in additional projects as directed by leadership.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time.

What You Will Gain:

Qualifications Required:

  • A University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Background in purchasing.
  • Expertise in supplier relationship management.
  • Experience in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
