  • Monitor and track clinical systems, such as wound care and infection control, under the direction of the director.
  • Provide consultation and education to residents and staff on health-related topics, promoting a culture of wellness and prevention.
  • Notify physicians and family members of any changes in a resident's health, ensuring timely communication and documentation.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our residents.
  • Maintain open communication with all departments and staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Develop and lead educational meetings for residents and staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill-building.
  • Participate in the Safety and Disaster Plan, ensuring our community is prepared for any situation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program.
  • 1+ years of experience in senior care or a related field.
  • A current Licensed Practical Nurse's License in the state where you will be practicing.
  • CPR certification.
  • Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with colleagues, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Basic computer skills.
