Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator I, Blending to join our team at Givaudan Fragrances. As a key member of our Powder Blend Division, you will be responsible for training and developing in efficiently operating all production areas in the Powder Blend Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety: Learn and comply with safety procedures, regulations, and policies of each blender area. Participate in all required safety training and programs.
  • Quality: Understand Blending Quality programs and comply with procedures and regulations. Record any quality deviations and notify the lead, supervisor, or manager.
  • Equipment/Process Knowledge: Develop proficiency in using SAP software and understanding production transactions and systems. Progress through training in various blend areas.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using SAP software and understanding production transactions and systems.
  • Soft Skills: Good work ethic, teamwork, and initiative to meet customer needs and requirements.
Working Conditions

The Production Operator I, Blending will work in a fast-paced production environment, using various types of equipment, including forktrucks, transfer pumps, and HMI control screens.

Accountability
  • Accountable to the Powder Blend Shift Lead.
  • Performance evaluated on safety, quality, productivity, teamwork, attendance, and GMP compliance.
Job Functions
  • Pick and stage materials.
  • Accurately measure and dispense items into blender according to process order instructions.
  • Blend and pack according to process order instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized blender room.
  • Clean blender (hand washing or using CIP system).
  • Document production information as required.
