Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan individualized patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, incorporating patient and family education and involvement.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to non-RN personnel, ensuring seamless unit operations.
- Participate in charge nurse responsibilities, including delegation and supervision of unit activities.
- Perform technical procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure instruction, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest endoscopy techniques and technologies, ensuring optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license.
- Recent endoscopy, ambulatory surgery, or operating room experience preferred.
- BLS certification required, with ACLS preferred.
