Warehouse Operations Specialist

Forklift Drivers play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, working collaboratively with a team to efficiently create customers' orders. This role involves driving around warehouses, storage spaces, and other facilities to place and move products, prioritizing safety above all else.
Key Responsibilities- Safely Operate Forklifts: Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring correct stacking and wrapping of pallets.
- Inventory Management: Verify and record all inventory transactions in Softeon, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Product Rotation and Consolidation: Conduct daily consolidation and rotation of products based on FIFO principles to optimize space and readiness for incoming stock.
- Quality Control: Inspect, report, and document any product variances, damages, or discrepancies, coordinating with warehouse management for resolution.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all equipment inspections are completed prior to use.
- Order Preparation: Stage and prepare customer orders, wrapping and loading them onto fleet vehicles according to safety rules and the federal Motor Carrier Act.
- Replenishment and Restocking: Replenish pick lines and ensure all products are available for efficient loading, minimizing out-of-stocks.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and complete other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED is required, with 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and handheld scanning devices, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Communication and Math Skills: Effective communication skills and basic math skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents in English.
- Safety and Compliance: Willingness to follow safety protocols, complete required training, and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
