Essentia Health is seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN.
About the Role:This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong foundation in cardiovascular sonography and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of echocardiographic studies in the echo lab, patient care units, procedural units, or surgical setting for patients.
- Provide measurement and image data to cardiologists for interpretation.
- May also perform other cardiovascular tests as required by Essentia Health's Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab.
- Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- New hire technologists must be registry eligible and become registered within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire or transfer.
- Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.
- A total sign-on bonus of $5,000.00.
- A competitive hourly rate of $59.52.
