Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy treatments to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct all aspects of radiation therapy physics, including clinical medical physics support, equipment calibration and commissioning, and maintenance of quality assurance programs.
- Collaborate with radiation therapists, dosimetrists, and radiation oncologists to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery.
- Develop and implement new treatment protocols and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide training and education to staff on radiation safety and treatment planning.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation therapy and medical physics.
- Master's Degree or PhD in Medical Physics or a closely related field.
- 2 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy physics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
