Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee community outreach initiatives, including creating and planning events to promote organ donation and increase registry sign-ups.
  • Assist with volunteer recruitment, coordination, and retention for events, speaking engagements, and media opportunities.
  • Establish partnerships with schools, community organizations, healthcare entities, and government agencies to increase organ, eye, and tissue donors.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for Gift of Life Michigan, assisting with traditional and social media opportunities, and collaborating with the communications manager and community outreach manager.
  • Visit Secretary of State branch offices to address issues, support clerks and managers, and promote the Donor Registry.
  • Work collaboratively with other Community Outreach department members on national donation observances and community projects.
