We are seeking a skilled Wiring Assembler to join our team at Astec Industries, a leading manufacturer of gas, oil, and combustion control systems. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and mounting purchased part components, piping, valving, tubing, and cable/wiring.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and install pilots, motor/blower assemblies, and other components according to specification sheets and drawings.
- Perform general labor activities such as lifting, bending, and twisting to assemble and install components.
- Use hand tools, air tools, electrical tools, and computers to perform tasks.
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to chemicals and heavy equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in assembly with cutting and installing conduit, installing chassis, and general to final wiring within a manufacturing environment/fabrication shop.
- Ability to read and understand specification sheets, drawings, and bills of materials.
- Basic knowledge of electrical tools and computers.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
