As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with our team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 9 years of experience in OOD/OOP with Java/JEE (backend). The ideal candidate will have experience with Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, RESTful API integration, and cloud technologies such as AWS, GovCloud, or MILCloud.

The successful candidate will also have experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, and creating SPAs using Vue.js framework. Additionally, they should have experience with end-to-end SDLC, Agile (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban), and supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Work closely with our team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide training to junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • MScs/BSCS or related 4-year degree.
  • 9+ years of OOD/OOP experience with Java/JEE (backend).
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, RESTful API integration.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GovCloud, or MILCloud.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Experience with creating SPAs using Vue.js framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with C++, or Python.
  • Experience with additional SPAs, web UI React.js, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, SCSS, or HTML.
  • Experience with RDBMS PostgreSQL or similar NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with unit testing.
