We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in estimating electrical construction projects across commercial, industrial, and service sectors. This role involves calculating costs for projects ranging from $5,000 to $5 million based on reviewing and evaluating available documents and site conditions, as well as assisting with project design when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate costs for electrical construction projects ranging from $5,000 to $5 million based on reviewing and evaluating available documents and site conditions
  • Provide preliminary pricing based on conversations and narratives when construction documents are not available or incomplete
  • Assist with the design of projects that are not fully designed
  • Quickly revise prices and budgets based on changing project conditions
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and competitive bids
  • Utilize industry-leading estimating software to develop and manage estimates
  • Stay current with industry standards, N.E.C, and local codes
  • Provide ongoing support and updates to project managers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current market conditions and trends in the electrical industry

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial, industrial, and service projects
  • Proven experience estimating projects ranging from $5,000 to $5 million
