- Unrestricted certification as a C.N.A. and meets state-specific certification requirements
- At least six months of work experience as a C.N.A. in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR certification and other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies
- Comply with ATC policies and procedures
- Comply with client facility nursing policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with HIPAA
- Communicate effectively with appropriate personnel
- Document patient care as assigned in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Follow the patient's plan of care as assigned
- Deliver personal care services to patients as assigned
- Take vital signs and document according to facility protocols
- Record patient input and output as assigned
- Maintain competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state-specific requirements
- Provide patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner considering cultural diversity and age appropriateness
