Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school setting. As an SLP, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing education and training to families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patient's unique needs.
  • Education and Training: Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, their causes, and effective management techniques.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to speech therapy assistants as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting.
  • Education: Must have a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred. Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
