Job Title: Survey Field Technician

Our field services department is expanding, and we are seeking a highly skilled Survey Field Technician to join our team at Schemmer Associates Inc. in Omaha, NE.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying and a passion for collecting, recording, analyzing, and preparing construction and land survey data. As a Survey Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Collecting and recording survey data using specialized equipment
  • Analyzing and preparing data for property, boundary, and right-of-way surveys
  • Acting as an instrument technician on survey teams
  • Performing technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license
  • Specialized training in surveying or a related field
  • 1-2 years of responsible surveying, construction, or engineering experience

The work environment will require:

  • Field work, including driving from project site to site
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and inclement weather conditions
