Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Delivery Specialist to join our team at Southwest Traders. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute basic and advanced driving methods in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations.
  • Perform delivery functions, including deciphering invoices, unloading products, and delivering items to store locations.
  • Operate a two-wheel hand cart and trailer lift gate.
  • Recognize customer products and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Collect money and perform basic mathematical equations.
  • Follow daily delivery route routines and customer guidelines for delivery methods.
  • Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain minimum company standards for throughput, error percentage, and on-time delivery.
  • Read and interpret documents, including safety rules, local area maps, and driver handbooks.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Work under the conditions listed in Working Conditions.
Requirements
  • Class A Driver's License required for at least 6 months.
  • No long hauls or over-the-road driving.
  • Health benefits start day 1 of employment.
