Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Optum in Arlington, TX. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and services.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Fills prescription orders and verifies medication stock under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Processes wholesaler medication orders and maintains accurate inventory records
• Assists the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
• Performs various clerical duties related to the pharmacy department
• Utilizes strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Makes daily mail drop-offs (using personal vehicle and reimbursed for mileage)

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas
• 1+ years of retail pharmacy technician experience
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
