Job Summary

Highway Horticulture is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cannabis cultivation facility in Cassopolis, MI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and building systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to complete complex repairs and installations.
  • Assist with the acquisition and inventory of supplies and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the facilities team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience working in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and use a ladder.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
