Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our program management efforts in Blythewood, SC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing programs and projects through our established process, ensuring timely completion within budget and with high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include coordinating project execution, creating and updating project documents, and facilitating development of plans and budgets.

• Manage programs/projects through our Stanadyne's process, ensuring timely completion within budget and with high customer satisfaction.
• Support creation and deployment of standard work and policy.
• Coordinate completing programs per contractual requirements within budget, on-time, and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Create and update documents relating to project activity.
• Responsible for managing the delivery of approved scope and securing approval and documentation to support expansion of scope.
• Oversee overall project management for all phases of Manufacturing Operation activities involving interfacing with other company disciplines.
• Prepare documentation in support of the Stanadyne phase-gate process.
• Facilitate development of plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range schedules.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
• Analyze project status and compare to established plans.
• Perform variance analysis and reporting for project status and expense.
• Assist in coordination of shared resources, identifying resource constraints, and assisting with corrective action plans to remedy any issues.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and MS Project.
• Ability to create scope of work documents and project charters.
• Knowledge of fuel injection and fuel management systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of fuel injection and fuel management systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of project/program financial reporting.

• BS degree in an engineering discipline, business administration, finance, economics, or another related business-appropriate discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in a program/project environment or product development setting in a lead role.
• PMP & Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
• Must have equipment knowledge in automation.

20% travel may be possible.
