We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Oakmont Senior Living. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by supervising and assisting in the administration of medications.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and distribute medication to residents in accordance with established nursing standards and policies.
- Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
- Maintain accurate and confidential resident medication and care records.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests by following established safety standards.
- Provide direct personal care and encourage residents to participate in activities.
- Prefer one year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to operate MS Office programs and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
