Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst role at Compass Group entails collaborating with the finance and operations teams to facilitate the proposal process effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing models for new business opportunities during RFPs
  • Generate project status reports related to new business pricing
  • Evaluate Pro Forma/IRR proposals for capital investment requests
  • Investigate financial and operational performance challenges
  • Create financial models and perform analyses to support strategic goals
  • Input operational budgets for new business divisions
  • Examine financial reporting and project budgets
  • Review contract drafts and establish tracking systems for key financial metrics

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Strong problem-solving skills utilizing dynamic financial models
  • Experience in interpreting complex data
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data management systems
  • Effective communication skills and business insight
  • Capability to collaborate across various functions

Experience and Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or Accounting is preferred. An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous. A minimum of 3 years in finance, with at least 2 years in a comparable role, is ideal.

Travel Requirement:

Anticipate 5% travel for unit evaluations and financial assessments.
