We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tree Care Crew Leader to join our team at Joshua Tree Experts. As a key member of our arboriculture team, you will be responsible for leading and managing tree care operations on residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage tree care operations, including pruning, trimming, and removals, to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
- Operate and maintain various tree care equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop plans to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition and meet company standards.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and minimize the risk of accidents.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve company goals and objectives, including providing training and guidance as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
- Strong understanding of tree care operations, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality results.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL-B is preferred).
- ISA Certified Arborist is preferred.
