We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event General Maintenance professional to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our event venues, including preparation, maintenance, and upkeep of all aspects of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a variety of equipment, including tractors, compactors, backhoes, and water trucks, to maintain the facility and prepare for events.
- Communicate and manage relationships with track vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Hang and dismantle signage, banners, and other visual elements as needed.
- Dig ditches and perform landscaping tasks to maintain the appearance of the facility.
- Clean the grounds, including removal of trash and litter, on a regular basis.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as repairing tools, water lines, fences, gates, walls, walkways, and buildings, as directed by the Manager of Facility Operations.
- Paint track walls, fences, concrete barriers, grounds, and buildings as needed.
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- High School Graduate/GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Successfully pass a driving record check.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of temperature and weather conditions. You will be required to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Climbing extension ladders, stairs, and ramps, and working in and out of ditches is also required.
