Position Overview:

The Center For Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to become part of our dynamic team. As a vital member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to work across various outpatient facilities, collaborating with diverse healthcare professionals and utilizing advanced imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Imaging: Conduct routine and specialized MRI examinations on designated body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Ensure patient safety by screening for any contraindications prior to procedures. Prepare patients by explaining the MRI process, positioning them correctly, and providing reassurance throughout the imaging.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Adjust scanning parameters as necessary to optimize image quality while maintaining a positive rapport with radiologists and healthcare staff. Accurately document patient information in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the work environment.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly by performing routine maintenance and cleaning. Assist in updating MRI protocols and monitoring supply inventory. Contribute to the training of new staff members by sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current ARMRIT or ARRT registration as a technologist.
  • Graduation from an accredited radiography program.
  • State licensure as a Radiological Technologist, if applicable.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Preferred:

  • MR certification.
  • Bilingual capabilities.
