As early childhood educators, you will play an essential role in the nurturing, supervision, and instruction of our young learners, ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Collaborating closely with a partner educator, you will design and execute lesson plans that cultivate a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere.

Your responsibilities extend beyond the classroom, as you will work alongside parents to promote the comprehensive development of children, addressing their physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

Develop, organize, and oversee activities that inspire children to create, explore their surroundings, solve challenges, and engage in practical experiences with age-appropriate resources.


Encouraging Independence:

Provide play opportunities that empower children to choose and explore materials, fostering independence, self-esteem, and a sense of achievement.


Positive Role Model:
Act as a constructive role model, delivering supportive, nurturing, and responsive care tailored to the unique needs of each child.

Engagement with Parents:
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and primary caregivers, encouraging open dialogue and collaboration in the child's growth.

Professional Conduct:

Exhibit professionalism in your work habits, pursue ongoing professional development, and maintain a positive demeanor when collaborating with colleagues.


Qualifications:

A degree or certification in early childhood education, child development, education, or a related discipline (experience may substitute for a degree in certain cases).
Experience with young children is essential.
Familiarity with and agreement to developmentally appropriate practices.
Willingness to learn about Judaism is a plus.
A genuine passion for working with children, demonstrated through warm, nurturing, and friendly interactions.
Ability to comprehend and execute emergency protocols calmly.
Openness to constructive feedback from supervisors.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with children of various developmental stages.
