We are seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychology Specialist to join our team at Burrell Behavioral Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide professional healthcare services within your associated geographical region and scope of practice, focusing on clinical interventions in the neuropsychology field.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, couples, and group treatment, as well as neuropsychological evaluation services, including assessment and test administration.
- Function in accordance with Burrell Behavioral Health Operational Guidelines and relevant professional code of ethics.
- Meet department-specific productivity expectations and proactively coordinate with support services teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely client documentation in line with best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of Burrell programs, admission criteria, and referral processes.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive follow-up plans for clients.
- Participate in or coordinate emergency services to provide rapid aid in crisis cases.
- Maintain knowledge of community resources and how to access them.
- Participate in peer review staffing, departmental/agency meetings, and staff development activities.
- Respond to Quality Assurance/Compliance/Revenue Cycle procedures and cooperate with utilization review procedures.
- Present educational material in public forums to promote community understanding of mental health.
- Assist with data collection, program evaluation, grant applications, and contract maintenance.
- Complete all agency required trainings and participate in self-evaluation and staff evaluation processes.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- State license as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) and recognition by regulatory authorities and/or relevant standards to function as a Neuropsychologist.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health records.
