Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive dietary history and food preference assessments upon guest admission.
  • Design, implement, and maintain menus tailored to the specific needs of our guests.
  • Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with State and Federal sanitation standards.
  • Oversee procurement processes within the dietary department, adhering to the facility's budget.
  • Manage all facets of kitchen operations, including procurement, sanitation, scheduling, training, talent development, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to respect and accommodate guests' dietary choices and routines.
  • Complete precise and timely clinical documentation related to dietary aspects of guest care plans.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Food Service Manager Certification or current enrollment in an accredited certification program.
  • Serv Safe Certification is required within the first 90 days of employment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Preferred: Two years of supervised food service experience in a healthcare setting, focusing on planning, preparing, and serving both regular and therapeutic diets.
