As a pivotal member of the Hardware Testing Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of advanced computing systems. Your expertise will be essential in the R&D lab, where you will design and implement testing protocols for prototypes, collaborating closely with design engineers to enhance hardware quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct OTA RF testing and debugging for various consumer electronics, focusing on multiple wireless technologies including WWAN, GNSS, WLAN, Bluetooth, and UWB.
- Perform comprehensive conducted and radiated RF/antenna measurements, generating insightful test reports to support the design team in making informed decisions.
- Collaborate with Antenna, RF, Certification, and Modem Software teams to validate and test Antenna OTA systems, while defining and executing test plans.
- Maintain and operate test equipment, ensuring calibration, inspection, and software/hardware updates are performed regularly.
- Propose innovative enhancements to existing testing practices and integrate new system-level features or testing protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Hardware Test Management, including methodologies, planning, execution, and reporting.
- Proficient in operating Antenna and RF test equipment such as OTA anechoic chambers, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools for data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements, as well as their certification processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes of test discrepancies effectively.
