Job Summary

The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and educating patients to help them achieve optimal physical function and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical function and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide physical therapy services as ordered by physicians and delegate tasks to physical therapist assistants and support staff
  • Recommend and provide treatment related to musculoskeletal or neuromuscular system function, including range of motion, motor power, postural attitudes, and biomechanical function
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice as a physical therapist
  • Prior experience in Skilled Nursing, preferred
  • Member of state and national American Physical Therapy Association, preferred
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Proficient administrative and public relations skills
  • Thorough knowledge of physical therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment
  • Knowledge of possible hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measures
  • Demonstrate emotional stability and maintain patient and employee confidentiality
