Position Overview (Dispensary Customer Advisor):

The Dispensary Customer Advisor plays a crucial role in engaging with and educating patients and customers, both in-person and via phone. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, assisting with inventory and cash management, and collaborating with local service providers. The Advisor will receive training across various workstations within the facility, including order fulfillment, point-of-sale operations, patient identification verification, and curbside service. Key Responsibilities (required duties and responsibilities):
  • Welcome patients and customers in person or over the phone; manage appointment scheduling and oversee patient intake and renewal processes.
  • Ensure patient records are maintained in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Provide information regarding legal matters and company policies to patients and customers.
  • Assist patients and customers in selecting suitable products; offer guidance on safe dosage and other cannabis-related information.
  • Support Dispensary Leads, Assistant Manager, and Dispensary Manager with inventory and cash management on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment within and outside the facility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dispensary Manager based on company needs.
Qualifications for Success (minimum qualifications):
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced, client-service-oriented environment, preferably in hospitality or retail.
  • Ability to pass a state-mandated background check.
  • Proficient in computer and office equipment operations necessary for retail management (POS systems; Word; Excel; office equipment).
  • Familiarity with medical cannabis usage and benefits is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure during stressful situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, flexible, adaptable, and to multitask effectively.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Strong skills in cash management and inventory control.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective planning and prioritization abilities.
  • Attention to detail and focus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
