Job Overview:
KGPCo, a leading telecommunications company, is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our team. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing operational efficiency, material movement execution, and operations analytics while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize statistical analyses, industry knowledge, and data to devise solutions to operational challenges
• Collaborate with Operations Management, Shipping, and Procurement to optimize efficiency, productivity, and workflow processes
• Conduct extensive MS Excel-based analyses
• Develop and maintain management's reporting requirements, including automation and ad-hoc requests
• Track facility-wide supplies consumption and reorder based on need
• Identify significant anomalies in reporting to the Operations Management Team
• Review accuracy of all reporting
• Report systemic problems to appropriate parties for timely resolution
• Maintain a professional attitude in dealings with colleagues, supervisors, and departmental personnel
• Uphold KGPCo values through setting examples and holding the team accountable
• Apply quality concepts such as 5S and Kaizen to improve quality performance
• Work within and promote established safety and quality standards
• Manipulate large data sets to determine specific actions
• Knowledge of data mining, business intelligence tools, and analysis
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities within time constraints
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to think and work independently but also work well in teams
• Eagerness to learn and accept challenges
• MS SQL and MS Access-based data mining experience to extract data from multiple sources
• Experience in warehousing and distribution is preferred
• Ability to prepare written materials and deliver training presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of quality concepts such as kaizen/lean six sigma/5S principles
• Strong organizational, analytical, and motivational skills along with a creative approach to problem-solving
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Operations Research, Math, or other technical area required; or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
