Job Summary

Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) is seeking a highly skilled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst/Developer to join our team. As a GIS Analyst/Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, administering, and upgrading GIS products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop GIS products and systems
  • Maintain and administer existing GIS systems
  • Upgrade and improve GIS products and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS solutions
  • Develop and maintain GIS data and products
  • Prepare and support the preparation of GIS data reports
  • Develop system, application, and training documents
  • Design and perform quality/anomaly checks on GIS products
  • Assist in designing, developing, troubleshooting, maintaining/upgrading GIS systems
  • Develop and conduct user training on GIS applications and tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in calculus-based technical (STEM) field plus at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining spatial software products, especially those based on Esri platform
  • Experience with C#, Python, HTML/CSS, .NET Framework/Core highly desired
  • Firm understanding of relational database and data governance principles: Demonstrated experience with MS SQL Server highly desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Visio desired
  • Able to utilize independent judgment, creativity, initiative, and ability to apply knowledge and experience to resolve problems
  • Able to deal with high-pressure environments; handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities, schedules, and requirements
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions and follow through on all assignments
  • Able to prioritize and schedule multiple activities in the most efficient manner to meet required deadlines and management commitments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, self-motivated, and desire to learn and improve
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide guidance to organizations and stakeholders
  • Able to remember extensive policies, procedures, terminology, schedule, personnel, and other details
  • Primary work location will be at the North Las Vegas Facility; will be required to report to the NNSS as needed
  • Schedule will be 4/10s, Monday through Thursday
  • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Annual salary range for this position is: $97, $145,516.80.

Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
