We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Review preference lists and prepare the necessary supplies and instruments for procedures.
- Perform a surgical scrub and prepare the back table with sterile instrumentation and supplies.
- Provide support intra-operatively by anticipating the surgeon's needs and passing them the appropriate instrumentation and supplies.
- Complete the cycle by taking instruments and equipment to the decontamination area at the end of the procedure.
- Successful completion of training as a surgical technician at an accredited school.
- National Certified Surgical Technologist certification.
- National Provider BLS certification.
- 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in an Operating Room setting.
