Job Summary

The Mammographer performs a wide range of duties to provide mammography services for patients in accordance with physician orders. This role requires minimal supervision, independent judgment, and initiative while maintaining the standards necessary for Radiologists to make accurate interpretations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography services for patients in accordance with physician orders
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures
  • Participate in Quality Assurance programs and related clerical aspects

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Training Program
  • MA Mammography License
  • ARRT certified
  • 1 year experience in mammography preferred
