JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. This position is focused on the design, development, and oversight of electrical systems tailored for industrial applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill client specifications.
- Design electrical systems for industrial heat-treating equipment in partnership with clients, suppliers, contractors, and colleagues.
- Ensure all designs adhere to industry regulations and standards.
- Create detailed electrical schematics utilizing AutoCAD software.
- Design and conduct tests on electrical systems to guarantee quality and reliability.
- Provide technical assistance and insights to stakeholders.
- Support PLC Technicians in software development and maintenance tasks.
- Prepare cost estimates based on design specifications.
- Assist in system installations, troubleshooting, and inspections.
- Train personnel on the designed electrical systems.
- Comply with federal and state regulations to uphold product and company integrity.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, publications, and networking opportunities.
- Travel to various job sites for inspections and troubleshooting as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering codes.
- Knowledge of PLC coding is advantageous but not mandatory.
