Job Summary

The Clinical Pharmacist is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct medication use evaluations and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research in pharmacy practice.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph) in the State of Ohio.
  • Previous hospital experience, preferably in a clinical pharmacy setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
