Clinical Workflow Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Workflow Expert to join our team at Banner Health. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for complex clinical workflows as they relate to systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Apply nursing standards to perform outcome coordinator functions, promoting holistic understanding of technology's application in improving clinical workflows and patient care.
• Provide clinical knowledge to perform high-visibility rounding, develop user groups, and coach in complex care delivery settings.
• Perform user acceptance testing for system enhancements to ensure adoption and improvement of clinical care delivery.
• Participate in solution evaluation, track, monitor, and enhance usage, and implement action plans.
• Collaborate with end-users to help define issues and enhancement opportunities within the electronic health record.

Requirements:

• Active RN license for a clinical position in a practicing state
• Two to three years of experience working in a complex and diverse healthcare setting
• Proficiency in system office applications and basic understanding of integrated clinical systems
• Highly developed interpersonal and critical thinking skills
