Job Overview

Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Macomb, MI. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding components in all positions, meeting AWS standards, and ensuring high-quality results. If you have experience with TIG steel weld, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum, and are proficient in operating equipment safely, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld components in all positions, meeting AWS standards
  • Experience with TIG steel weld, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum
  • Operating equipment using safe work habits
  • Examining work pieces for defects
  • Measure work pieces with straight edges, tape measure, scale, or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
  • Weld steel, aluminum, invar, or other alloys
  • Clamping, holding, tack-welding, grinding, or bolting component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Able to read blueprints and weld symbols
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Documents actions by completing production time sheets
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Proficient with GMAW and GTAW
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED, certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience
