Job Overview

SUMMARY

The role involves managing customer orders and responding to inquiries and issues effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive and process customer orders directly or through sales representatives.

Ensure timely placement of orders for necessary materials and supplies for production.

Handle billing processes efficiently.

Address customer complaints and inquiries, coordinating with relevant internal teams as needed.

Maintain accurate customer records.

Process new product entries and purchase orders.

Manage accounting credits and document changes in customer orders.

Send order confirmations to customers via fax.

Support sales personnel and contribute to generating additional sales opportunities.

Monitor warehouse inventory to ensure availability and adherence to minimum/maximum stock levels. Analyze monthly usage and restocking needs per customer.

Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Preferred candidates will have:

Experience in a manufacturing setting

Data entry skills

Familiarity with the corrugated box sector

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

Strong communication abilities. Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as sales reports and operational manuals. Proficient in writing routine correspondence and reports.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

Proficient in basic arithmetic operations. Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and calculate figures such as discounts and costs.

PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS

Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in various formats.

Skilled in resolving diverse problems and managing situations with limited information.


TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficient in computer data entry applications

Knowledge of products and production processes

Understanding of quality standards, including ISO and QS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly required to walk, talk, hear, stand, and sit.

VISION REQUIREMENTS
Includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT


While performing job duties, employees may be exposed to humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
