Hickory Tavern Dishwasher

Job Summary:

The Hickory Tavern is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area. This includes setting up stations according to restaurant guidelines, following recipes and portion controls, and restocking items as needed. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, adhering to all company safety and sanitation policies, and assisting other Team Members as needed.

Responsibilities:

Set up station according to restaurant guidelines
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
Restock all items as needed throughout shift
Clean and maintain equipment and kitchen area
Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Assist other Team Members as needed

Requirements:

Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
Previous prep or line cook experience
Ability to stand/walk 6-8 hours per shift
Ability to reach, lift, and bend frequently
Ability to take direction and work calmly under pressure
Ability to read and write English
Self-motivated and organized with problem-solving abilities
