Executive Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Vice President to join our team at Heffernan Insurance Brokers. As a key member of our commercial insurance brokerage, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and driving business growth.

• Renewal Strategies: Collaborate with our principals to develop and implement effective renewal strategies that meet the unique needs of our clients.
• Insurance Exposure Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of insurance exposure and claims data to identify areas for improvement and optimize our clients' risk management.
• Team Leadership: Direct and support a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients, including coordinating service offerings and leading marketing efforts for customer renewals.
• Coverage Analysis: Analyze and review coverage documents to ensure our clients have the necessary protection in place.

• Education: Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees and designations (MBA, J.D., C.P.A.) a plus.
• Experience: 7-10 years of professional experience required, insurance industry experience a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.
• Negotiation Skills: Comfortable negotiating directly with underwriters.
• Learning and Development: Commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.
• Math and Analytical Skills: Strong math and analytical skills.
• Technology: Strong command of technology, including MS Office and MS Excel.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000, depending on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
